General questions
What is QuiSuite Accounting?
QuiSuite Accounting from QuiSoft Limited is a complete accounting and business-management software for UK companies: ledgers, stock, CIS, jobs and customers in one fast, dependable application.
It is straightforward for everyday bookkeeping, and it has the depth to run order processing, stock, construction-industry tax, job profitability and foreign-currency trading without bolt-ons.
Who is QuiSuite suitable for?
QuiSuite suits businesses and organisations of many kinds:
- Non VAT registered businesses
- VAT registered businesses
- Sole traders & Partnerships
- Limited Companies
- Community Interest Companies
- Clubs & Societies
Which computers does it run on?
QuiSuite is a native desktop application for Windows, macOS and Linux. Its data is kept in a PostgreSQL database, which can be on the same PC, on your network or in the cloud, on Windows or Linux.
A mixed office shares one set of books, live, whatever computer each person uses.
Can several people use it at the same time?
Yes. QuiSuite suits single users and busy multi-user offices alike. Two users can never overwrite each other's work, and every posting is all-or-nothing.
User access control gives each person a role, with screens allowed or denied and view-only users; menus and the dashboard show only what each user may use. See Administration, Security and Data Safety.
Can I keep the books for more than one company?
Yes. You can have several companies, each with its own database, and Administrator > Database creates a new one in seconds.
Is it built for UK rules?
Yes. The Construction Industry Scheme, UK date formats and settlement discounts are built in, not added on.
Can you install it and tailor it for us?
Although the system can be implemented by the end user, we provide a full deployment service, to install on whatever machines are required.
If items such as "Picking Lists" are needed by your organisation, which are not needed by most users, we can add them, test them and deploy them for a small fee.
Can I move from Sage 50 or another system?
Yes. Import Sage is a step-by-step wizard that moves a company from Sage 50 Accounts, checking every balance against Sage before you go live.
From other systems, the same wizard reads CSV or Excel files: customers, suppliers, stock and opening balances.
How is my data kept safe?
Every amount is held as exact pence and every posting is all-or-nothing. A one-click backup covers every database and the logins and is proved by a test restore, and QuiSuite backs up your data before every update.
Can I design my own reports?
Yes. There are ready-made reports in every module, around 100 ready-made Report Writer reports, and a visual designer for any report you can think of. Reports can be printed or saved as PDF, Excel or CSV.
See Report Writer.
Is there help inside the program?
Yes. Press F1 on any screen for its help page, or rest the pointer on any field, button or menu item for a plain-English explanation of what it is for. No manual is needed to get started.

What is the USB test drive?
A complete, working copy of the program with the demo company already set up, running from the USB drive itself. Nothing is installed on the PC, and every test drive starts from a fresh copy of the demo company.
Do I need an internet connection to activate my licence?
No. Licence keys are activated offline, with no internet connection needed.
What happens when my subscription ends?
There is a grace period, and after that your data is still available to view and report on.
How much does it cost?
From £10 per month for the core accounts (with the CRM and Services), £15 with three of the optional modules, £20 for every module; each Vertical Application is £5 per month extra. See Pricing, or get in touch for help choosing the modules that fit your business.
How do I arrange a demonstration?
Use the Contact page, or “Get in touch” at the foot of any page, and tell us a little about your business. We can arrange a demonstration, a free trial or a USB test drive to suit you.
